What is a drone?
We get this question a lot. A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) either guided by remote control or flies autonomously.
Is there a difference between a drone and UAV?

What is 3D modeling and what does it do?
3D modeling utilizes cutting edge technology to offer an interactive platform to showcase information to a client/guest. Through the use of drones, we fly over the area of interest and can give you real time data, terrain, progress, etc.
In the pictures below we have several 3D models we had the pleasure of capturing:
The Ocean House
Winnipaug Golf Course
Lot 2 Construction
Cognitive Garden at Avery Point
Sand & Gravel Pit
Once you're in the 3D models, you can maneuver and click on certain areas of the model for a more in-depth description or even a link to do a video walk through or more pictures can be added. Need more help maneuvering around the models? Click HERE and you'll be directed to our youtube page where we teach out how to use these models. The possibilities for utilizing 3D are endless and we can't wait to create a 3D model for you! We are here to offer down to earth solutions on how to make you work smarter, not harder. We partnered with Lehto Design Build here in Connecticut. They specialize in passive/net zero houses. What is a passive/net zero house? Passive houses are hyper efficient and can maintain an almost constant temperature all year round. Net zero houses are designed to fully negate the energy that the occupants consume and net zero houses can even be off the grid! We also partnered with Groton Bible Chapel in Groton, Ct. They did a complete new sanctuary and we were able to catch the entire process from start to finish. We have a construction progress video capturing the entire project. This was an example of where the architect was out of state and we were able to provide him with details on the job site so he never skipped a beat.
AerialScope has the capability to process large amounts of aerial data in house, locally. We choose to process locally over cloud based processing. Some advantages of local vs cloud based are as follows:
Processing locally allows security, speed and control. You have peace of mind knowing your data is safe and secure and can be accessed almost any time by actual people, not just robots.
Let us take the time, expense and space needed for processing and let you get back to taking care of your customers.
Mining & Aggregate
Our services can quickly calculate volumes and manage inventory across all sites. Utilizing our methods helps:
Let us do the flying and we can provide the type of data that best works for your business.
*Please note we are not licensed surveyors and we cannot guarantee accuracy. We do partner with local surveyors who can guarantee accuracy.*
